Each 100% recycled sunglasses frame is made from the ocean's most harmful plastic directly recovered and recycled by the Waterhaul team from the Cornish coastline. Paired with signature Mineral Glass+ lenses delivering the greatest optical clarity and sustainability of any sunglasses lens material, plus 12x scratch resistance and infinite recyclability vs. plastic lenses, along with full spectrum UVA / UVB / UVC 400+ protection.

The delivery packaging is always entirely plastic-free and 100% recyclable.

Frames

• Hand-finished Italian crafted round frames.
• Matte Navy-Blue finish that alludes to the frame's origins as ocean plastic. Designed for durability with five-barrel hinges, the frames are heat-mouldable for a custom fit at home.

MINERAL GLAS, NOT PLASIC

Waterhaul is the only sustainable sunglasses brand not using virgin plastic lenses. They use glass lenses, over cheaper plastic sunglasses lenses for three key reasons:

• Optical Quality - Mineral glass is optically correct, with by far the greatest visual clarity of all lens materials.
• Scratch Resistance - The sunglasses are designed for the beach, which means sand - the enemy of most sunglasses. Our chemically hardened polarised glass is 12x more scratch resistant than other lenses, and exceeds all international impact resistance tests.
• Sustainability - Recycled plastic lenses do not exist. Glass is infinitely recyclable, and doesn't produce microplastics when cut to shape.
