Marie Chauché
Marie Chauché is a passionate surfer from the Basque Country, where she grew up surrounded by the ocean and mountains. Her deep connection with nature has shaped both her lifestyle and her career. Twice crowned French junior champion, Marie has chosen longboarding as her board of choice, though she also enjoys riding shortboards and guns when the waves demand something different.
More than just an athlete, Marie is deeply committed to environmental causes. She holds a degree in Political Science with a focus on ecological transition and environmental law, using her knowledge to advocate for ocean protection. As an ocean ambassador, she combines her love for surfing with activism, raising awareness about marine conservation.
A true freesurfer at heart, Marie values creativity and freedom over competition. She contributes regularly to the surf media world, especially as editor-in-chief of Surfeuses magazine. Her talent for storytelling extends beyond the page — she is currently working on several film projects that document her surf trips and adventures, aiming to inspire others through powerful images and personal narratives.
Whether in the water or behind the scenes, Marie Chauché continues to blend surfing, activism, and creativity into a unique and meaningful journey.
