PHOTO MAGAZINE
A magazine printed on the finest paper and measuring almost half a meter across when opened. Made with great passion and dedication. For all surf, outdoor, photography, and travel fans.
Issue #47 is ready for you:
With Issue 47, we’re taking you to some very different places around the world. To Ericeira, for example, where surfing pro Marlon Lipke shows us his favorite spots. We explore his favorite breaks, good coffee, the best time to travel, and whether Ericeira is actually a place to move to.
We hike 36 kilometers through the Hajar Mountains in Ras Al Khaimah, discover summery Arosa, and talk to big-wave surfer Andrew “Cotty” Cotton about the biggest waves in the world, fear, and the story of how Nazaré became what it is today.
We travel to a place that has been on some bucket lists for a very long time: São Tomé and Príncipe. Rainforest, black volcanic rocks, waterfalls, and an island nation that is still a blank spot on the map for many people. Leve Leve, the people there say. Take it easy. Slowly, slowly. Perhaps exactly the right motto for this issue.
Also featured is Vincent Bartels, who has been traveling with his camera and VW Syncro for years and gives us an insight into his impressive portfolio. Mountain and ski guide Reiner Taglinger is accompanied into the Himalayas with his daughter and her friends, the return of road trip season is celebrated, and we visit Kéa, a Greek island where life is still a little quieter.
And of course, there is art again. The artist behind the cover is Lee Roy Fairclough, who also gets his place in this issue.
