Ed West
The British photographer Ed West lives and works on the Gold Coast in Australia. From Burleigh Heads, he photographs surf, travel, and lifestyle for international magazines and brands. In the interview, he shares how he got into photography, why he now works almost exclusively from the water, and why proximity to the action is crucial for his images. By the way, the cover of this issue is also by him.

The Pizza Connection
Janina and Matze quit their jobs, now live in a self-converted VW T4, and travel through Europe and North Africa with a pizza oven in their trailer. On the road, they bake pizza for people they meet, surf whenever the waves allow, and tell honest stories about life on the road. For a few days, we trade airplanes and long-distance travel for a houseboat and explore the region at our own pace. A journey through lakes, locks, and small towns, where it quickly becomes clear how much adventure sometimes lies right at your doorstep.

On the road with… Mickael Vandermaesen
For this photo portfolio, we accompany photographer Mickael Vandermaesen on a visual journey. With his Minolta X700 and a fondness for old cars, motorcycles, and wide landscapes, he creates images that are strongly influenced by road trips, freedom, and the American West. A collection of personal snapshots between asphalt, film camera, and the feeling of being on the move.

Tim Elter
The German surfer Tim Elter is one of the most exciting up-and-coming talents in European surfing. For this issue, he gives us an insight into his current life between competitions, travel, and training.

Shogo Ota
The Japanese artist Shogo Ota combines illustration, graphics, and large-scale murals into a calm, clear visual language. In our conversation, he shares how his work has evolved from small local projects to international collaborations with brands like Starbucks and BUFF, and what continues to drive him to implement new ideas.
