The Japanese photographer Atsushi Sugimoto opens the issue with his quiet, atmospheric images and tells how he captures surf culture between everyday life and creativity. Then we go with Marlon Lipke to Nicaragua, where he reports on calm lineups, simple routines, and the beauty off the usual paths.

It gets adventurous at the Diamond Coast in South Africa, where rusty wrecks, heavy barrels, and wild nature collide. And we show you a Hawaii beyond postcard clichés. Food trucks, community, everyday life, and nature that carry the magic of the islands even in difficult times. Additionally, we accompany the Patagonia Impact Camp in Iceland, where surfers, activists, and creatives fight together for healthy waters. With Hannah Dürr, you will hike step by step across the Pyrenees, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. In Tuscany, we visit an agrivilla that shows that sustainable tourism can be more than just a buzzword. And our artist for this issue is the Hamburg-based Philipp Mechsner, whose works round off the issue.
