URBAN PLAYGROUNDS - Athletes claim cities around the world

Created in collaboration with Red Bull, Urban Playgrounds explores some of the world’s most thrilling places for urban sports, with musings from star athletes, including Letícia Bufoni, Fabio Wibmer, Danny MacAskill, and Dominic Di Tommaso, on what makes a spot unique, and insights  from academics and architects on the marriage between space and recreation. 

Follow athletes as they skate Oscar Niemeyer's iconic creations in Brasília, the streets of Paris, or as they dash over the rooftops of Istanbul's infamous Grand Bazaar. Take a virtual leap from London's brutalist Southbank to the streets of Lagos, and from a dense Colombian comuna to the sleek surfaces of Dubai. Be it freestyling on a skateboard, riding a BMX, or stretching the human body in parkour, athletes unlock the endless possibilities of the urban landscape.
