Currently, the fifth batch of the rum is being sold, limited to 231 bottles. Each bottle is individually hand-numbered.

Since the founding of Rum bei die Fische, €1 from each sold bottle goes to concrete nature conservation projects – particularly to promote the sea trout population and to restore rivers.

Local initiatives are supported that improve waters for the spawning migration and offspring of the sea trout. Many streams have become silted due to human interventions or extreme weather events, making them unsuitable as spawning grounds. Through targeted use of materials like gravel, we contribute to a better nursery for the fish.
