The second long player of the Hamburg indie trio. After the successful predecessor 'Ob Festzelt Oder Großraumdisco' (2009), the band has clearly made an effort not to overstrain successful formulas. On 'Für Leute Die Schon Alles Haben', there is still the perfectly intertwined combination of analog and electronically digital tools, but with a new touch, a distinctly matured approach. Refined sound design, kraut-like elements and beats, as well as a soothing deepness increasingly shape the picture. Although all songs ultimately adhere to classical structures, focusing on vocals, verses, and choruses, even in the opener and title track, which combines a mantra-like vocal sample with a reduced driving beat and bass, CAN and dancefloor aesthetics are on board. Tension arises mainly from minimal variation and escalation of repetitive elements. This love for micro-detail, the elaborate arrangements, and the playful, liberated approach to sound design and effects is common to all songs on the album, which nonetheless evoke very different basic moods and references. With 'Immer Auf Repeat' and its cumbersome guitar riff plus staccato beat, brittle British coolness à la THE FALL or ELASTICA is greeted, while 'Superheld' even showcases a reduced, dark-glamorous electroclash aesthetic. In contrast, 'Kleines Solo' encounters a hypnotically twisted acoustic guitar motif with a text by ERICH KÄSTNER. 'Ich Liege Im Trend' celebrates its groovy beat with spatial electro-house quotes, with KNARF RELLÖM guesting on bass. Wavy-manic, lightened up with piano tinkling and sparkling acoustic guitars, 'Ein Bau Aus Angst Und Hoffnung' moves forward in a constant run. With the following 'Heut Hat Die Seele Wandertag', however, the trio shows the same presence at a measured walking pace. The laconic 'Alles Ist Passiert' with its innocently melodic, yet hit-worthy harmonies concludes the album. Musically as versatile as it is coherent, 'Für Leute Die Schon Alles Haben' is held together by the cutting-rough vocals of MICHAEL SPORMANN, who appears both vulnerable and determined. In his lyrics, there is an inimitable balance between intelligent observation and reflection, a joy in elevation and literariness, as well as immediate empathetic expression. Twelve first-class, interdisciplinary, overflowing with creativity indie songs with a hypnotic pull and full of energy. 'Für Leute Die Schon Alles Haben' surprises with its independent character - unpretentious, coherent, and directly appealing, off the beaten path.
