Single Farm & Single Malt Whisky

The Hinrichsen Farm uses its own organic grain, ripened by the North Sea wind, which is malted on the malt floor, brewed and distilled in the farm's own distillery. The subsequent barrel storage takes place in the hayloft 500m behind the dike and gives the whiskey a unique taste influenced by the wind and weather on the Baltic Sea island of Föhr. 

And they are and remain down-to-earth: they only process what their own fields bring them and what they can create with their own hands.

Sustainability is a big topic for the Hinrichsens. We rely on renewable energies, circular economy and organic farming, but also on long-term partnerships with employees and local companies. 

The special island location in the middle of the Wadden Sea National Park, the best Föhrer groundwater, their own grain and the careful processing results in a very special whisky..

• Casks: 50% Ex Jack Daniels, 50% New American Oak
• Grains: Spring barley
• Nose : Vanilla, dark chocolate, smoke aroma, caramel
• Aroma: Vanilla, creme brulée, marzipan, dark chocolate, light smoke & bourbon aromas, dried fruits
• Finish: very long aftertaste of vanilla and dried fruits, fresh walnut
• Alcohol content: 54%
• Content: 0.5 L
