GIN BEI DIE FISCHE - Salzwasser

Distilled in Hamburg's oldest distillery and refined with a pinch of salt and wild beach mugwort from the Baltic Sea coast, this special Dry Gin impresses with its unique, mineral note, wind, waves, and friendship – a true piece of northern German coast in a bottle.

On the palate, the Dry Gin is clear, fresh, and surprisingly complex. It pairs excellently with a subtle tonic water, but can also be enjoyed neat – even at room temperature, it reveals its special depth.

The Saltwater Edition is initially limited to only 239 bottles. Each bottle is hand-numbered and features artistic illustrations of saltwater fish, created by the renowned angler and illustrator Peter Perch. A collector's item for connoisseurs and lovers of maritime flavors.

Since the founding of Rum bei die Fische, €1 from each sold bottle goes to specific conservation projects – particularly to promote the sea trout population and to restore rivers.

Local initiatives are supported that improve waters for the spawning migration and offspring of sea trout. Many streams have become silted due to human interventions or extreme weather events, making them unsuitable as spawning grounds. Through targeted use of materials like gravel, we contribute to a better nursery for the fish.
