Breton Single Malt Whisky, 70 cl, 46%, not cool-filtered
As a true symbol of the distillery's values, this Armorik emphasizes both the quality of its know-how and its connection to the Breton terroir. Through a partnership with a local cooper, the distillery has crafted unique barrels from Breton oak. Armorik Double Maturation rests there for many years before being transferred for a second maturation in sherry casks.
- Barrels: Aged in in Breton oak barrels, then in Oloroso sherry barrels
- Grain: French organic barley.
- Water: From a granite crevice beneath the distillery.
- Color: Amber
- Nose: Beautiful balance between fruity notes of mirabelle and citrus fruits and a spicy vanilla note.
- Aroma: Soft and rounded start with honey notes, then the complexity of the product reveals itself with notes that are both spicy and slightly woody, featuring ripe fruits in a beautiful volume.
- Finish: Very long, with notes of spices, cookies, and orange marmalade. A hint of heather honey perfumes the finish, supported by grain and pleasant marine notes.
