SURFRIDER FOUNDATION EUROPE

 

SURFRIDER FOUNDATION EUROPE was founded in 1990 by a group of committed surfers who wanted to protect their surf spots. Since then it has developed into a continent-wide NGO with over 13,000 members that is dedicated to the protection of our waters.

Commitment, perseverance and a love of the sea have made the organisation a European authority in the areas of marine litter, water quality and health, as well as coastal management and climate change, over the past 30 years. The Surfrider Foundation is a grass-roots movement through and through, in which members and volunteers in over nine countries are committed to environmental and marine protection.

Rebel Fin supports them in two ways. We donate one percent of our annual sales to the marine conservation organisation via 1% For The Planet. We also sell Klean Kanteen water bottles in our shop, of which 100% of proceeds go to The Surfrider Foundation.
