Phil Roose

Phil is living the dream. Making the switch from city life to the free life, he lives in a camper van with his girlfriend and loyal dog Tio, searching for the best spots in Europe (and further afield) to surf, skate, and spend time outside.

Once a longboard skater and snowboarder, upon discovering the ocean, Phil hasn’t looked back. He finds his peace in the ocean, big waves give him a kick, he’s a surfskate convert and he likes to share the stoke with anyone who crosses his path.

He’s also a big believer in active lifestyle and healthy eating. He likes to eat, and eats a lot! “Through my life on the road and traveling, I have become aware that healthy eating has a positive influence on everything I do.” Phil is also very conscious of not over consuming, only taking what is necessary, and always recycling and reusing materials.

Their plan for the rest of the year is life on the road! At the moment you’ll find Phil and his girlfriend surfing in Galicia and northern Spain, before heading to Belgium to host meetings for Surfskate Belgium, of which he is the founder. August will see them visit the Netherlands for family time, before making their way down to Brittany where they’ll stay, weather and wave dependent, until October. Chasing the surf and sunshine, Phil will then head south before making his way to Morocco in December.
