Niklas Sandhoff
Meet Niki Sandhoff. Now a Rebel Fin ambassador, he shreds river waves and wave pools and he’ll be specifically testing and trialing our Rapid Fin collection.
Niki has surfed everyday since he was 13 years old. In the early days he'd get up at half 3 in the morning to surf before school, and head straight back to the water the second the bell rang at the end of the day. He’s now 17 and took part in the Austrian Championship for the first time this year, scooping 4th place.
Based in Salzburg, Niki is studying to be a carpenter whilst surfing, snowboarding and skating. His favourite surf spots are Munich, the Alm in Salzburg (his hometown) and a wave in Ebensee.
Niklas is a core member of the Rebel team, testing and optimising our rapid surf gear on the river waves and wave pools in his home town.
Sustainability for Niki is living frugally. He only buys what he needs and donates the things he no longer uses. He said, “don’t buy 10 things and only use 3 of them!” Welcome to the team Niki, we’re excited to have you on board!
